The Marshall-Saline Development Corporation(MSDC) was established to enhance Saline County by strengthening of existing industry/business, and by bringing new commercial and industrial development into the county.

This is to be accomplished by recruiting new industries to locate in Saline County and by aiding in the expansion of existing industries.

In 2005, a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy was developed for Saline County, Missouri. The document is presented here in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format.
